Doesn't time fly?

Michelin Man, the winter
fashion icon.
And not necessarily when you're having fun, as it's time for that winter malarkey once more. Which means: "Hello unnecessarily early nights! Hello wrapping up so much you look like the bloody Michelin man! Hello Festive season and stupidly bitter weather! Haven't we missed you!"
The short answer is no.

The long answer is merely a list of justifications against each and every one of those horrible necessities that one must partake whilst the chill of winter grasps and chokes us. Please. All I want is to be warm!

Enough of the weather chat, seeing as I speak too much of the weather on this thing to really be considered normal. I should have dedicated it to a "Brit moaning about the weather", but I think it's too late to change now.
Anyhoo. Time has passed by too quickly recently, especially with being busy and having stuff to do, and also getting older as well. I hope that it isn't just me who felt that, at the age of 6 or 7, the next birthday always seemed an eternity away (which is generally why they felt such momentous occasions, though they were merely a milestone), whereas these days, the next birthday keeps coming round sooner and sooner. I don't know whether this is down to my perception of time, or something else (some would like to believe 'ethereal'), but all I know is that it's bloody annoying and going by too quickly.

For example, now. I can't believe that it is October, let alone the best part of the way through it. I think that working in retail has pretty  much killed my perceptions of the holiday seasons as well, due to the fact that we had advent and christmas chocolates on display in time for the end of summer. Or what you could call "summer"... so I'd better say August. WHERE HAS IT GONE?
HAS SOMEONE BEEN STEALING MY TIME FOR DOING THINGS IN?

I know that I shouldn't worry, but it's just given me something to think about... like how close deadlines are without realising it. Oh dear.
